Built for the consultants who serve Vermont's operators
You're the one signing the reports, dealing with the deadlines, fielding the phone calls. We built this for you, not the operators. They never have to learn a new tool.
What's in it for you
- White-label email — reports go out from your address with your signature
- Manage 5 or 500 operators from one dashboard
- Import your existing roster spreadsheet — we parse it with AI and show you a preview before committing
- We only email your clients when you've configured us to — never on our own initiative
- Cancel any time — your data exports as CSVs
Frequently asked questions
Which utilities do you support?
Green Mountain Power today. Vermont Electric Coop, BED, and others coming soon.
How do you get my bills?
Each of your operator clients installs our Chrome extension and logs into their utility account once. We capture bills in the background and aggregate them in your dashboard. You stay in control of communication and reporting.
Can I customize the report format?
Every report ships in the exact layout NEPOOL-GIS accepts for quarterly net-metering credit reporting — one sheet per array, six rolling quarters, standard MWh-to-REC math, and the verbatim NEPOOL footnote. We pixel-matched it against the master spreadsheet a senior Vermont solar operator has used for years. If your downstream consumer needs a different layout, email us — we'll work with you on a custom template.
How long until clients actually receive my reports? Any email propagation issues?
Reports leave our queue within seconds of being generated. After that, delivery is at the mercy of normal email plumbing — most inboxes get it in under a minute, but a few quirks to know about:
Spam folder on first send. The very first quarterly report we send to a brand-new client address sometimes lands in Promotions or Spam, especially for Gmail and Outlook. Once they mark it "Not spam" or move it to the inbox, subsequent quarters route straight through. We'll flag any client whose mailbox bounced or marked us spam right in the dashboard.
Corporate filters can hold mail 5–15 min. Some IT-managed domains (especially municipal/utility accounts) run inbound gateways that quarantine attachments. If a client says "I never got it" after 20 minutes, the dashboard's "resend" button will fire a fresh copy — and you'll see a delivery/bounce status next to each address.
DNS propagation only matters once. If you white-label
reports to send from your own domain instead of admin@solaroperator.org,
you'll add three DNS records (SPF/DKIM/return-path). Those take anywhere
from 5 minutes to 24 hours to propagate worldwide — we hold off on routing
your mail through that domain until we've confirmed all three are live, so
there's never a window where reports get rejected mid-transit.
If you ever suspect a delivery problem, the per-client status in the dashboard tells you exactly what happened: delivered, bounced, or marked-as-spam, with timestamps.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel any time from your dashboard. Your data stays accessible for 30 days after.
Do you handle the NEPOOL-GIS IDs?
You enter them once when you add an array. We use them in every report. Auto-pull from your utility portal doesn't have them — they come from ISO-NE.
Do I have to know my array count to sign up?
No. At checkout you choose: enter your exact clients and arrays now to lock in your precise monthly bill, or give a rough estimate and true-up later. If you estimate, your subscription adjusts automatically as you add or remove arrays — you'll always see the change before it hits your card. Either way, you only ever pay for the arrays you actually report on.
